Duties
- Safely transport prepared dishes from the kitchen to designated tables, ensuring presentation remains pristine.
- Assist servers by delivering food orders efficiently and accurately, enhancing guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, including clearing empty plates and resetting tables as needed. Greet customers, escort to table, and provide menus
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service.
- Support food safety standards by handling dishes carefully and adhering to hygiene protocols.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when necessary, such as garnishing, preparing desserts or portioning ingredients.
- Provide excellent guest service by responding promptly to requests and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is needed
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and proper sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential for engaging with guests and team members.
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods comfortably.
