Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Food Runner role located in La Verne, CA. The Food Runner will ensure that food orders are delivered promptly to tables in an accurate and professional manner. Responsibilities include coordinating with the kitchen and serving staff, assisting with food preparation as needed, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and creating a welcoming dining experience for all guests. The Food Runner plays a key role in supporting the restaurant team and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Food Runner or Expeditor, with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Knowledge of Food Service and Food & Beverage handling with attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and a friendly attitude
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen and service teams
- Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required
- Must have the ability to stand for long periods and lift food trays as needed
