Nail Technician

One of the most beloved spas in New England, The Spa at the Woodstock Inn & Resort, is seeking Licensed Nail Technicians to join the team. 

The Spa at the Woodstock Inn & Resort boasts a 10,000 square foot, LEED-certified facility featuring 10 treatment rooms, a spa boutique and locally sourced products. Embrace comfort and tranquility with natural light, fresh native flora and Vermont-inspired treatments reflecting the changing seasons.

Job Summary: 

The Nail Technician will be responsible for delivering high-quality nail services while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests of our Spa.

Job Specifications: 

• Expected Pay Range: starting $11.00 per hour plus commission and service charge.
  • The pay scale shown is the range that we reasonably expect to pay. Actual compensation offered may be adjusted based on a candidate’s qualifications and/or experience.
• Shift & Schedule Availability: Part-time; 20-35 hours per week
• Weekends and holidays    

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform manicures and pedicures with precision and creativity. This will include cleaning, shaping, and polishing nails, as well as cuticle care and callus removal.
• Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and offering personalized recommendations.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art and techniques to provide innovative services.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and client preferences.

Job Requirements: 

• Valid Vermont cosmetology license or nail technician certification is required.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and highly motivated to maintain our guest service standards. 
• Must possess a strong understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and provide excellent service.
• Must thrive in a fast-paced environment.  
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
