Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Houseman to join our hotel team. In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness of guest areas and public spaces. Your proactive approach will contribute to creating a welcoming environment where guests feel comfortable and cared for. The Houseman plays a key role in supporting the housekeeping staff and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and order throughout the property.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and public areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to keep surfaces spotless and safe.
• Support housekeeping management by restocking supplies, delivering linens, and organizing storage areas efficiently.
• Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, window cleaning, and surface sanitation across various locations.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored in accordance with safety protocols.
• Assist with industrial cleaning projects when needed, including deep cleans of large or specialized areas.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure guest needs are met promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Experience in cleaning at facilities and/or hotels
• Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is desirable.
• Strong understanding of cleanliness standards and safety procedures in a busy environment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward supporting colleagues and guest satisfaction.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
