We are looking for a professional Line Cook to prepare food according to the café’s specifications. The Line Cook will assist Lead Line Cooks and the General Manager in food production and safety. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

Specific Responsibilities
- Assist with stocking and setting up kitchen stations and putting away deliveries.
- Prepare food, including cleaning and cutting ingredients and menu items for immediate consumption using recipes provided by the General Manager.
- Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, kitchen equipment, reach-in coolers, freezers, and all storage areas.
- Work with servers to ensure orders are completed accurately and quickly.
- Operate large volume cooking equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, grills, and griddles.
- Label and stock all ingredients on shelves for easy organization and accessibility.
- Verify that prepared food meets quality, presentation, and specification requirements.
- Perform freezer pulls and set up for the next day.
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
- At least 2 years of prep or line cook experience.
- Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to carry up to 50 lbs.
- ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, nights, and holidays.
