Position Summary
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of The Reserve Club's facilities, amenities, and grounds to support an exceptional member and guest experience. This position plays a vital role in preserving the Club's commitment to excellence by ensuring all facilities are clean, safe, organized, and welcoming.
Consistent with the standards of The Reserve Club and the principles of professional club management promoted by the Club Management Association of America (CMAA), Housekeepers are expected to demonstrate integrity, attention to detail, accountability, and a service-first mindset while contributing positively to the Club's culture and member experience.

Cleaning and Facility Care
As a private club employee, the Housekeeper is entrusted with access to member spaces, Club facilities, and operational areas. Maintaining the trust and confidence of the membership is an essential function of this position.
This position requires flexibility based on Club operations and member usage.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Cleaning and Facility Care
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all Club facilities, amenities, and member-use areas throughout The Reserve Club property.
- Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, all Clubhouse areas, pool, tennis, pickleball, and recreational facilities, golf course comfort stations and rest areas, event venues, outdoor gathering spaces, common areas, and other Club-owned, managed, or operated facilities.
- Perform routine cleaning, deep cleaning, and special cleaning projects as assigned.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, sanitize, polish, and maintain floors, fixtures, furniture, equipment, and high-touch surfaces.
- Clean windows, mirrors, restrooms, entrances, hallways, patios, and public spaces.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles and maintain waste collection areas.
- Replenish restroom supplies and facility amenities.
- Monitor facilities throughout the day and respond promptly to housekeeping needs.
- Report maintenance deficiencies, safety concerns, and repair needs to management.
- Properly use, maintain, and store cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies.
- Assist with cleaning and preparation for Club events, tournaments, meetings, banquets, weddings, and special functions.
- Ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and properly maintained before, during, and after events.
- Support the overall member experience through responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Follow all Club safety procedures, sanitation standards, and housekeeping protocols.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and workplace regulations.
- Immediately report accidents, hazards, unsafe conditions, or security concerns.
- Utilize cleaning products and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Interact with members, guests, and fellow employees in a courteous, professional manner.
- Respond positively and promptly to reasonable member requests.
- Support a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and service excellence.
- Represent The Reserve Club in a professional manner at all times.

- Exercise sound judgment when working independently throughout Club facilities and grounds.
- Uphold The Reserve Club's commitment to providing a secure, respectful, and welcoming environment for all members and guests.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping, custodial, hotel, resort, private club, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and complete assignments efficiently.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow directions and maintain established standards.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment and tools.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
This position requires flexibility based on Club operations and member usage.
Employees May Be Required To Work
- Days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Club events, tournaments, and special functions.
- Overtime as necessary during peak operating periods.
