Facilities Manager and President of Operations

To perform various maintenance tasks including carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, painting, and HVAC system maintenance. The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with experience in Industrial Maintenance or a related field. They should also have the necessary skills and credentials to execute tasks accurately, professionally, and safely.
Specific Job Responsibilities
- Maintaining preventative programs and correcting issues to building HVAC equipment.
- Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance service request.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks inside and outside facilities, such as repairing, caulking, painting to keep facilities in excellent shape.
- Repair broken or leaking plumbing to prevent water damage and restore full functionality of water fixtures.
- Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
- Addressing potential safety hazards to prevent injuries.
- Following work order procedures and assisting with equipment installations.
- Performing and maintaining preventative and predictive maintenance tasks, and logging all maintenance calls, repairs, and related supplies.
- Working off ladders both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions to address maintenance issues, including replacing light bulbs, fixtures, ballasts, and electrical switches.
- Independently performing tasks such as scraping, patching, caulking, and painting interior and exterior walls, floors, trim, and ceilings using appropriate tools.
- Accurately assessing tasks, measuring, cutting, and installing building-related materials such as wallboard, siding, fencing, and insulation.
- Inspecting plumbing fixtures for repair or replacement, responding to leaks and floods, and repairing supply and drain lines.
- Utilizing personal cell phone for communication with team members and capturing photos of items or situations that require reporting to the Facilities Manager.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Consent to a background check.
- Ownership of a vehicle, preferably a truck, with insurance.
- Clean Driving Record.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work appropriately when in tenant or client offices or facilities.
- Must possess own tools and vehicle to transport materials, ladders, and pick up supplies as necessary.
- Attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, proactive attitude, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Physical strength and dexterity to lift, move and handle equipment.
