Engagement Coordinator – Full-Time

Dream Centers of Michigan is seeking an Engagement Coordinator to play a key role in cultivating meaningful relationships with donors and volunteers. This full-time position partners closely with the Executive Director to ensure supporters are valued, connected, and engaged in life-changing ways. The Engagement Coordinator leads donor acknowledgement efforts, coordinates annual fundraising events and campaigns, and oversees volunteer recruitment and support.
Key Responsibilities
Manage donor acknowledgement processes and support engagement strategies.
Coordinate donor experiences such as tours, appreciation events, and impact communications.
Assist with planning and executing fundraising campaigns and events.
Recruit, onboard, and support individual and group volunteers, ensuring meaningful placements.
Partner with staff to develop volunteer appreciation and tracking systems.
Collaborate on event planning, promotion, and logistics to create memorable experiences that reflect DCOM’s mission.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Prior experience in donor relations, fundraising, or volunteer management strongly preferred.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Creative and detail-oriented, with experience in event planning and donor/volunteer systems.
Alignment with the mission and values of Dream Centers of Michigan.
