Part-Time Retail Sales Associate – Outdoor Gear Consignment Store
We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and hardworking Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As an outdoor gear consignment store, we are seeking someone who has a passion for and knowledge of outdoor activities and equipment. If you enjoy helping customers, staying organized, and creating a welcoming shopping environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist shoppers on the sales floor and answer questions about outdoor gear and equipment
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive sales floor
- Organize merchandise, displays, and inventory
- Perform light cleaning duties throughout the store
- Assist with stocking, pricing, and merchandising items
- Product photos and social media tasks
- Support daily store operations and opening/closing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Knowledge of and enthusiasm for outdoor recreation and outdoor gear
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed
- Previous retail experience is preferred but not required
Job Details
- Part-time position
- Flexible scheduling may be available
- Hourly pay based on experience
- Must work one Saturday a month.
