We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a well-organized retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for sales, ensuring that every customer leaves with a positive experience.
Hour we are looking to fill:
Wednesday 2pm to 7pm
Friday 2pm to 7pm
Saturday 3:30.pm to 7pm
Sunday 3:30pm to 7pm
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs to provide tailored assistance.
- Communicate product features and benefits effectively to enhance the shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Maintain an organized sales floor by stocking merchandise, arranging displays, and ensuring product availability.
- Assist in supervising junior staff members to promote teamwork and efficiency.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Uphold company policies regarding returns, exchanges, and customer service standards.
- Utilize phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries to maintain professionalism.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
