Overview
Woods Medical, is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant who takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care. Our ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and compassionate, someone who stays calm and efficient in a busy clinical setting and works well alongside our physician and office staff.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience in a physician office
- Proficient in obtaining manual blood pressures
- Experience performing EKGs
- Experience administering intramuscular and subcutaneous injections
- Excellent patient communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical office
- Professional, dependable, and positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW)
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Responsibilities:
- Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs
- Administer injections as ordered by providers
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record
- Assist providers with patient care and office procedures
- Communicate lab and diagnostic orders
- Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies
- Work collaboratively with providers and staff to deliver excellent patient care
