Staff Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements
- Process journal entries and maintain financial documents
- Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accuracy
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
- Assist with audits and tax filings

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, debits, credits, and double-entry bookkeeping
- Experience with account reconciliation, financial report writing, and general ledger accounting
- Proficiency in journal entries, bank reconciliation, and payroll processing
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with clerical duties related to accounting tasks
