Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Funeral Director/Embalmer based in Lacey/Olympia, WA. The individual will assist families with planning funeral services, provide guidance on memorialization options, and coordinate logistics for services. Additionally, the role involves performing embalming and other preparation duties, ensuring the deceased is treated with dignity and respect. The Funeral Director/Embalmer will maintain detailed records and work closely with team members to deliver exceptional support and care to all clients.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Embalming and working within Funeral Homes
- Strong skills in Family Services and guiding families through funeral arrangements
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
- Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work in a team setting
- Current Funeral Director and Embalmer license
- Ability to maintain professional integrity and ensure confidentiality
- Proficiency in maintaining records and following regulatory requirements
- Previous experience within the funeral or memorial services industry is a plus
