A Veterinary Technician takes care of animals that come into the facility and maintains the facility itself. The essential link between animal and veterinarian.
Come join Woodlands Veterinary Clinic team. A fast paced general practice servicing the cats and dogs of the Northeast Kingdom and Northern NH. We are looking to add an experienced assistant or licensed technician to the team. The veterinary technician may have the following responsibilities: intake of patients, proper restraint during the exam, administering medication, going over medications and discharge instructions in a professional manner. Also collection of lab samples, running laboratory testing, properly setting up and taking radiographs, monitoring animals under anesthesia and maintaining proper patient records. This position requires lifting of up to fifty pounds unassisted and over fifty pounds with assistance. Daily cleaning such as vacuuming, mopping and wiping down kennels is required. Veterinary assistance duties are similar to the above depending on experience.

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
