ASSISTANT PRACTICE MANAGER / VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

Duties
- Assist the Practice Manager in leading and supporting the veterinary team.
- Serve as a working Veterinary Technician and provide hands-on patient care.
- Assist with referral outreach, scheduling, marketing, training, and inventory management.
- Help maintain efficient daily operations and a positive, professional work environment.
- Support team members and help ensure high standards of patient care and client service.
Qualifications
- Prior veterinary technician experience required; management or leadership experience preferred.
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, anatomy, and pet care practices.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively and remain composed in a fast-paced urgent care environment.
- Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented approach.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely.
- Ability to remain on your feet and actively working for 8 hour shifts, including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and assisting with patient restraint and care.
- Ability to safely handle and work around animals of varying sizes, temperaments, and medical conditions.

Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
