What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN position at Woodlands Skilled Nursing & Therapy?
Licensed Practical Nurses are critical to ensuring a robust clinical culture. We are THE place where you can fit in and stand out on day one. The LPNs help fulfill the care requirements of their patients and are fully accountable for ensuring that competent care and safety are hallmarks for all residents.
Responsibilities and Purpose
- Provide bedside care.
- Administer medications and document therapeutic effects.
- Take vital signs and record them in the patient’s chart.
- Assist with resident comfort.
- Prepare and administer injections and enemas.
- Collect samples and monitor catheters.
- Help coach staff as necessary.
Desired Experience and Education
- One (1) or more years of experience in a skilled nursing or Long-term Care environment is preferred.
Required
- Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) License.
- Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification.
