Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Bartlesville, OK
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay: $25.00/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a busy outpatient clinic in Bartlesville, OK. This full-time, Monday through Friday position offers a stable daytime schedule with no weekends, providing an excellent opportunity for an experienced LPN who enjoys delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment.

Essential Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care while ensuring comfort, safety, and exceptional customer service.
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, current medications, and chief complaints.
- Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and minor in-office procedures.
- Administer medications, injections, immunizations, and other physician-ordered treatments within the scope of LPN practice.
- Assist physicians and providers during examinations and clinical procedures.
- Perform specimen collection, wound care, dressing changes, and other clinical duties as assigned.
- Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and provider instructions in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, follow-up care, and preventive health measures.
- Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms while ensuring clinical equipment is properly maintained.
- Coordinate patient flow to promote efficient clinic operations and minimize wait times.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond professionally to patient questions, concerns, and telephone inquiries.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations, OSHA standards, infection control guidelines, and all clinic policies and procedures.
- Support a positive, team-oriented work environment while delivering compassionate, patient-focused care.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience
- Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Minimum of two (2) years of LPN experience in a physician office, outpatient clinic, specialty practice, or other healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, medication administration, and patient assessment.
- Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, compassionate bedside manner.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is a plus.
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in the State of Oklahoma.
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative healthcare team.
- Strong critical thinking, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and maintaining confidentiality.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift, transfer, or assist patients as needed.
- Manual dexterity to perform clinical procedures and operate medical equipment.
- Ability to safely move supplies and equipment as required.
