Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses/injuries (e.g., infections, lacerations).
- Manage chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension).
- Perform minor procedures (e.g., suturing, joint injections).
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging).
- Prescribe medications and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide patient education on preventive care and healthy practices.
- Collaborate with physicians and support staff in a team-based model.
- Master’s degree from an ARC-PA accredited program.
- Current PA-C certification and valid Texas licensure.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal) to serve our diverse patient population.
- 1 years of experience in family medicine (new graduates with strong clinical rotations considered).
- Proficiency in EHR systems and commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Preferred: Experience with chronic disease management or procedural skills (e.g., point-of-care ultrasound).
