Woodlands Periodontics & Implant Dentistry is seeking a motivated and reliable Surgical Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team and support the delivery of exceptional patient care. We are a specialty periodontal and implant practice committed to providing high-quality treatment in a professional, respectful, and patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the doctor during consultations and surgical procedures
- Prepare operatories, sterilize instruments, and maintain infection control standards
- Take radiographs and ensure accurate clinical documentation
- Provide excellent patient care, including comfort measures and post-operative instructions
- Maintain organization of surgical instruments and supplies
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Assist front office staff with patient check-in, scheduling, or administrative tasks when needed
Compensation:
Hourly rate based on experience
Requirements:
- Active Texas RDA license (required)
- Periodontics or surgical experience (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
- Positive, professional attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
- Reliable and punctual
