Job Summary: The Art and Craft Instructor will instruct school-age and adult art and craft programs. The Art and Craft Instructor will be prepared, creative, and energized while providing a safe learning environment. The program curriculum is flexible and can be developed by the instructor in collaboration with the Program Coordinator. Program dates are also flexible but will include providing programs during school breaks to elementary-aged children.
We are specifically seeking instructors with experience in pottery and wheel throwing, as well as an instructor to lead Youth Summer Art Camps.
Qualifications/Education Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Previous experience working with elementary age participants in group activity setting
3. Prior experience teaching community-based programs preferred
4. Comprehensive knowledge of art; experience with activity design preferred
5. Must possess or be able to obtain First Aid, CPR and AED Certifications.
