We are looking for a Behavioral Health Practitioner to work in our Mobile Crisis Response program. This position assists children, adolescents, and adults who are in a crisis through assessment, intervention, and stabilization. The position is based in Willmar but you will respond to community locations in seven counties including Woodland Centers Urgent Care, hospitals, schools, and homes. Full time primarily evening and every other weekend hours with flexibility.
Job Duties:
- Completes crisis response services both in person and via telehealth.
- Completes crisis screenings and triage by phone and in person.
- Teach mental health skills to individuals and families.
- Work closely with community providers, law enforcement, and community agencies.
- Works within a team and under supervision of a Mental Health Professional.
Requirements:
- Must meet DHS requirements of a Behavioral Health Practitioner.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Use of electronic health record and data entry.
