Job Summary
WOODLAKE VALLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL: GRADES 6-8 Head Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach (WVMS) works under the direction of the Athletic Director. Coach is responsible for the supervision and development of the JV program team. Responsible for developing tryout and practice schedules for all levels of the program; responsible for the general upkeep, inventory and protection of equipment and facilities under the jurisdiction of the program; maintain ongoing communication with the Athletic Director regarding any developments in the program; monitor the scholastic eligibility and conduct of athletics; and, perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Experience coaching and knowledge of sport and rules; Fingerprint clearance prior to beginning work; T.B. clearance prior to beginning work; Ability to motivate students; Ability to be a team player and work well with staff, parents, coaches, players, and others contacted in the course of work.
- Certification (valid CPR, First Aid, Concussion, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Heat Acclimatization, and Coaching certifications or willing to obtain)
- Driver's License Copy (and proof of auto insurance)
- Letter of Introduction
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (requires three (3) letters of recommendation)
- Proof of HS Graduation (or equivalent)
- Resume
