Position Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and driven Assistant Project Manager to support the execution of EV charging and energy infrastructure projects.
This role sits at the intersection of:
- Construction
- Utility coordination
- Permitting
- Client communication
You will work closely with project managers, field teams, utilities, and clients to keep projects moving and remove bottlenecks.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
- Track permits, utility applications, and approvals
- Assist in managing subcontractors and vendor communication
- Support procurement of materials and equipment
- Maintain project documentation, budgets, and reporting
- Assist with site logistics and field coordination
- Track project costs and assist with invoicing and billing
- Help prepare proposals, scopes of work, and client deliverables
- Follow up proactively to keep projects on schedule
What We’re Looking For
- 1–5 years experience in:
- Construction management, electrical, or infrastructure projects
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Proficiency in Excel and general project tracking tools
- Willingness to visit job sites as needed
Preferred (not required):
- Electrical or construction background
- Experience with EV charging, utilities, or energy projects
- Familiarity with permits, drawings, or basic electrical systems
