Residential Carpenter
Woodhaven Contractors is seeking an experienced residential carpenter to join our team. We specialize in high-quality home renovations, additions, and custom residential construction throughout Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential framing, blocking, trim carpentry, and general construction work.
- Install doors, windows, baseboard, casing, cabinetry, hardware, and finish materials.
- Read and work from construction drawings and field dimensions.
- Coordinate with project managers, lead carpenters, subcontractors, and homeowners.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Complete work with a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Assist with punch-list work and other project needs as required.
Qualifications
- Residential carpentry or remodeling experience.
- Strong knowledge of common construction methods, tools, and materials.
- Ability to complete work accurately and efficiently with limited supervision.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in occupied homes.
- Ability to lift construction materials and perform physical job-site work.
- Personal hand tools preferred.
Experience with high-end renovations, additions, custom homes, cabinetry, or finish carpentry is strongly preferred.
