Job Description: Keep Woodhaus running smoothly by approving payroll, handling bookkeeping, and coordinating the paperwork that keeps our projects moving. You'll spend your days making sure our team gets paid correctly, keeping our books straight, and making sure contracts and closeout documents get to the right people. This isn't your first rodeo—you are an Excel pro, are willing to reload the coffee maker when it’s empty, jump in to help the team, and you don't need someone looking over your shoulder.

Job Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration
- Review and verify employee timesheets for accuracy
- Coordinate payroll corrections with shop and field teams (bilingual communication highly preferred)
- Process payroll data in Innergy and export to our Helm system
Bookkeeping & Financial Management
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations in company accounting software
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Document Control & Coordination
- Review and facilitate the movement of documents like contracts and change orders from General Contractors to our internal teams and back again using Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and Word and Innergy
- Other duties as assigned
Skills Required:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency - must be skilled with formulas, data manipulation, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and converting/formatting documents from multiple sources
- Experience with accounting/bookkeeping software (specific programs can be learned)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred for effective communication with shop and field personnel
- Familiarity with payroll processing and principles
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-starter who takes initiative and works autonomously
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to coordinate and communicate with internal teams professionally
The Accounting & Payroll Coordinator position is a full-time office position. The hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. This position is not eligible to work remotely. We are located in Carrollton, Texas, northeast of Dallas.
Job Type: Full-time
Structure: Reports to our Controller.
Pay: Salary is commensurate with experience.
