This role includes supporting financial reporting, account reconciliations, and payroll compliance. We are looking for an Accounting & Payroll Specialist to manage payroll, bookkeeping, and general accounting functions at our Frisco office. This role includes supporting financial reporting, account reconciliations, and payroll compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations
- Provide support for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger activities.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes and financial reporting
- Assist with P&L statements, balance sheets, and account reconciliations
- Handle client billing, collections, ACH transactions, and invoicing
- Maintain payroll and accounting documentation in compliance with company policies
- Identify and resolve accounting or payroll discrepancies
- Provide financial information to leadership for decision-making
- Work efficiently with QuickBooks, ADP, and other payroll/accounting systems
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll processing
- Understanding of general ledger accounting, debits/credits, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Knowledge of P&L statements and balance sheets
- Payroll experience with knowledge of taxes and compliance
- Staffing industry experience is ideal
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is ideal
- Experience supporting a global company is preferred
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, ADP, Excel, and Google Workspace
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills
- Must be able to work onsite in Frisco, TX
