Woodfield Boca Raton is seeking an experienced Sous Chef for our state-of-the-art dining outlets. Our resort offers five dining venues, each with a varied and unique dining experience to suit our members ranging from casual poolside bites to elaborate buffets and elegant dinners. We are seeking a Culinary Professional who possesses strong culinary and managerial skills within a luxury high-volume resort or high-end restaurant environment. Must be creative, detail-oriented and have a strong passion for culinary arts. Prior experience as an a la carte Chef in a high volume, high quality environment preferred. Must have strong leadership, communication and organizational skills, and culinary degree preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following
- Prepares or directly supervises the daily preparation of all food items.
- Responsible for the food production in all outlets of the club.
- Consistently maintains standards of quality, cost, eye appeal and flavor of foods.
- Creates menu specification with the Executive Chef.
- Tastes all food items prepared prior to serving.
- Creates “Specials”.
- Creates new items for buffet and a la carte.
- Plans weekly production lists.
- Ensures all employees are following their schedules.
- Communicates with the Chef on any club member feedback.
- Ensures that all cooks are trained and understand our standards when working any type of station.
- Ensures all food products received are of the highest quality.
- Ensures that all employees follow checklists for their areas.
- Ensures that all employees are following the highest sanitation standards.
- Ensure that the receiving department is accepting only the highest quality
- Culinary Degree preferred
- Prior experience as a la carte Chef, required
- Strong kitchen management and Front of House experience
- Experience in a high volume, high quality hotel or high-end restaurant environment
