Specifically, this position will:
- Design, build, and maintain web pages using university-approved templates and content management systems.
- Support web-focused projects for the department in collaboration with an in-house marketing and development team.
- Ensure consistency in web design by applying university brand standards and accessibility guidelines across all digital content.
- Collaborate with university marketing, digital transformation, and internal stakeholders to support web updates and improvements.
- Use web design and content strategy to meet departmental marketing and communication objectives.
- Assist in monitoring site performance and implementing updates based on analytics and user experience insights.
- Must be a current UVU student.
- Knowledge of web design principles, including user experience (UX), responsive design, and accessibility standards for digital content.
- Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and maintaining web content within university-approved platforms.
- Highly organized with baseline project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication and decision-making skills.
- Skilled in web and digital design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and basic HTML/CSS.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt design solutions for digital platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to organize and execute digital content updates that support current and prospective students.
