Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage guest relations by responding promptly to inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all payments
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
Experience
- Prior restaurant experience with a focus on food service or hospitality is highly preferred
- Experience with fine dining environments or nightclubs is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Demonstrated skills in customer service, guest relations, and upselling techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for accurate check processing
- Previous host/hostess or serving experience enhances your ability to manage guest flow efficiently
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting
