Mental Health Operations Supervisor

Wood Violet Recovery
Dodgeville, WI Full Time
POSTED ON 7/12/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/9/2026
Lead a Growing Mental Health Program that Changes Lives!

At Wood Violet Recovery, we help adults (ages 18-64) recover from substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health challenges, and other mental health concerns. Located in the scenic hills of Dodgeville, WI—just 45 minutes from Madison—our voluntary residential program provides hope, healing, and lasting recovery.

As our Mental Health program continues to grow, we're looking for a Mental Health Program Manager to provide operational leadership while serving as a clinical resource and advocate for both clients and staff. This role partners closely with therapists, nursing, and executive leadership to ensure high-quality programming, support our Mental Health Technicians, and continuously improve the client experience. While a strong clinical background is important, this position is primarily focused on program leadership rather than maintaining an ongoing therapy caseload.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of our Mental Health program, ensuring a safe, organized, and supportive environment.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop our Mental Health Technicians (MHTs) through regular feedback, training, and performance management.
  • Coordinate staffing, scheduling, daily programming, and workflows to ensure efficient operations and excellent client care.
  • Partner with therapists, nursing, admissions, and executive leadership to support continuity of care and smooth program operations.
  • Monitor program quality, identify opportunities for improvement, and help implement any new processes/initiatives.
  • Provide support during behavioral health crises by coordinating resources and ensuring appropriate response protocols are followed.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and company standards.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new MHTs.
  • Track operational metrics and participate in quality improvement efforts.
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Clinical experience working with individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorders.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience in a behavioral health, mental health, or residential treatment setting.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and recovery-oriented treatment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Experience coaching and developing frontline staff.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Success in this role comes from developing staff, improving program operations, advocating for clients, and partnering with the clinical team—not by carrying an ongoing individual therapy caseload.

Benefits & More:
  • Quarterly Bonus Opportunity: Receive a percentage of your quarterly earnings as a bonus based on company performance!
  • Comprehensive Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance available after just 60 days of employment!
  • Retirement Planning: 401k with a 3% company match to help you invest in your future.
  • Paid Time Off: Enjoy paid sick time, holiday pay, and PTO that starts accruing on your first day!
  • Free Daily Meal: One complimentary meal per shift from our on-site (gourmet) cafeteria!
  • Supportive Team Culture: Join a collaborative and compassionate work environment where your contributions are valued.
At Wood Violet Recovery, we believe in the power of people—and that includes our team. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to building a diverse, inclusive environment for all.
