Grill Cook/Line Cook

Wood-n-Tap in Groton is now open and hiring for Grill/line cooks

Wood-n-Tap started with one location in the West End of Hartford in 2002.We now operate 10 locations with Groton being our 11th!!

We are looking to fill out our kitchen staff with experienced line cooks and prep cooks. We have full and part time positions available.

Applicants must:

• Enjoy a fast paced, high volume environment
• Possess a desire to work in a kitchen where all ingredients are made in house.
• Take pride in their dishes and plate presentation
• Have knowledge of food safety practices
• Be punctual
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
• Enjoy working as part of a team

Skills

• Experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Strong culinary skills with an understanding of meal preparation techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with other kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel.
• A passion for cooking and providing exceptional service in the food industry.
