Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new federal business opportunities aligned with company capabilities
- Build and maintain a strong, actionable pipeline of opportunities
- Track opportunities from identification through submission and award
- Develop relationships with government customers, primes, and teaming partners
- Lead early-stage capture activities including positioning, teaming, and win strategy
- Coordinate with internal teams to prepare for proposal execution
- Support or lead proposal efforts when required
- Manage and guide team in opportunity identification and tracking
- Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and provide regular updates to leadership
- Ensure focus remains on opportunities with a clear path to revenue
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Government / Public Policy, Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field
- 7 to 12 years of experience in federal business development, capture, or related roles
- At least 3 to 5 years directly supporting or leading opportunity or pipeline development
- Experience in federal business development within government contracting
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage a pipeline of opportunities
- Understanding of federal procurement processes and contract vehicles
- Experience working with or supporting proposal development
- Ability to engage with customers and teaming partners effectively
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Ability to operate independently and drive results
- Experience within national security environments preferred
