The Paramedic is responsible for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care across all stages of life by providing clinical support, assisting with procedures, and promoting safety and efficiency, while upholding professional standards and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the healthcare team. The Paramedic is an onsite position.
Essential Functions
- Provide direct patient care across the lifespan by obtaining vital signs, initiating IVs, assisting with procedures, and addressing emergent needs.
- Collects specimens, assists in wound care and splinting, and the preparation of sterile fields.
- Transports patients, restocks supplies, and maintains care areas.
- Respond to patient and team needs with effective, culturally appropriate communication and customer service.
- Maintain professional standards through participation in training, performance improvement activities, and adherence to departmental policies.
- Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety.
- Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request. May be expected to work longer hours as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
