Coordinator, Development and Events The Coordinator, Development and Events role is responsible for advancing philanthropic initiatives through events and cultivating community relationships that support the hospital’s mission and long-term sustainability. The Coordinator, Development and Events is an onsite position.Essential Functions
- Lead and oversee community and foundation engagement programs, operations and development of all fundraising events, including recruitment, stewardship, and program growth.
- Cultivate and steward relationships with WCH Guild members, Increase membership and drive philanthropic support and engagement.
- Oversee and execute fundraising events, in collaboration with the Vice President of Development and Marketing.
- Ensure effective operational management of Foundation events, donor databases, maintaining accuracy, compliance and confidentiality.
- Develop Foundation, donor and event communications, donor stewardship materials, newsletters, and collateral to ensure alignment with hospital priorities and donor intent.
- Collaborate monthly with Hospital Accounting to reconcile and resolve discrepancies related to charitable contributions, pledges, endowment funds, and restricted gifts.
- Generate, develop and design board level campaign, fund, and prospect reports to support fundraising initiatives, audits, strategic planning, for board and administrative presentations monthly.
- Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety.
- Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request. May be expected to work longer hours as necessary.

Requirements

- Three (3) years experience in fundraising and/or community business leadership.
- Two (2) years experience in event management.
