Supervisor, Plant Operations / Facilities Management/ Full Time / Days

The Supervisor, Plant Operations is responsible for supporting safe, efficient, and compliant facility operations by supervising daily maintenance activities, ensuring regulatory readiness, promoting staff development, and maintaining reliable building systems that support patient care and organizational goals. The Supervisor, Plant Operations is an onsite position.

Essential Functions

• Supervise daily plant operations, maintenance activities, and assigned staff to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant facility operations that support patient care and organizational objectives.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, corrective work orders, scheduling, and departmental activities while ensuring accurate documentation and workorder compliance to support operational readiness and regulatory standards. Monitor and support compliance with Joint Commission Environment of Care and Life Safety standards, safety regulations, infection control requirements, emergency management protocols, and organizational policies through inspections, tracers, audits, drills, staff training, competency oversight, and routine operational activities to ensure a safe, compliant, and operationally ready environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Coordinate, monitor, train, and mentor employees, contractors, and vendors performing work within the facility to ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety practices, infection control requirements, emergency management protocols, interim life safety measures (ILSMs) as applicable, organizational policies, and performance expectations while promoting competency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, utilities, and work areas to identify operational risks, support survey readiness, address routine issues, and recommend corrective actions or process improvements to enhance safety, reliability, and productivity.
• Perform hands‑on maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and technical tasks alongside maintenance staff as a working supervisor to ensure timely resolution of operational issues, maintain equipment reliability, and support daily plant operations to include on call and weekend shifts.
• Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety.
• Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request. May be expected to work longer hours as necessary.

Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED

License: Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance

Experience: Three (3) years’ experience in the Plant operations field
