Do you love inspiring kids to explore, create, and dream big?
WonderWorks Lab is seeking passionate, dedicated, and caring enrichment instructors available from 2-4pm during weekdays especially on Tuesdays to lead fun, hands-on workshops for elementary-aged children (ages 4–12). Our classes connect science, engineering, and creativity through interactive STEM kits and activities—empowering students to see themselves as problem-solvers and inventors.
What You’ll Do
- Lead 90-minute after-school classes at least twice a week in the afternoon.
- Bring energy and enthusiasm to hands-on STEM projects (for example: circuits, bridges, robots, and more!).
- Create a safe, supportive environment where every child feels excited to learn and try new things.
- Be very flexible in the afternoons (especially 2-4pm). Travel to assigned locations in Burlingame, Belmont, Millbrae, and surrounding areas.
To Succeed in This Role, You Should…
- Be passionate about education and children’s growth.
- Build and test STEM kits before teaching to ensure smooth instruction.
- Anticipate and explain tricky steps with patience and creativity.
- Be comfortable guiding students through challenges and celebrating their successes.
Qualifications
- Passion for education and working with children (experience with ages 4–12 preferred).
- Some college or related experience; teaching experience preferred
- Fun, patient, and engaging personality.
- Available at least on Tuesdays after 2 p.m.
- Must pass a background check & fingerprinting (required).
