What are the responsibilities and job description for the Play Coach/ Program Coordinator position at Wonder Hollow?
Wonder Hollow is interviewing candidates for a Play coach / Program Coordinator. This position is Monday-Friday and hours will vary but always be between the hours of 8:15-2:45. We are a learning center that offers a unique small group experience for children. We are looking for candidates with an education/childcare background who are passionate about play and it’s role in early development.
Job responsibilities include:
-Assisting with planning and implementing age appropriate and play-based lesson plans. Will be hands-on with the class at all times.
-Supervising a group of 12-14 preschool and school aged children.
-Facilitating play by engaging the group with open ended questions, conversation or enhancements. Planning weekly themes including circle time and projects.
-Will assist with center operations including parent communication, programming, opening/closing, use of systems, and other.
