Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Sonographer located in Kailua, HI. The Certified Sonographer will perform diagnostic imaging evaluations, including obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular exams. Responsibilities include operating ultrasound equipment, preparing patients for procedures, reviewing medical histories, and producing high-quality diagnostic images. The position requires close collaboration with medical staff to assist in accurate clinical assessments and ensure exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
- Certifications with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Proficiency in diagnostic imaging, OB imaging and fetal echocardiography.
- Strong knowledge of medical practices and terminology related to sonography and complex pregnancies
- Excellent communication, patient care, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site healthcare environment
- Compliance with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
