The Human Resource Manager is responsible for employee and volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and engagement, as well as record management, benefit administration, HR compliance, and reporting. The HR manager serves as a key point of contact for employees and volunteers, ensuring smooth, supportive, and compliant HR processes.
This is a full-time, in-person position at our main office in Petoskey.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have direct knowledge and experience in Human Resources, HR practices, employment laws, and FMLA administration
- Be a self-starter with strong organizational skills
- Demonstrate professionalism and interpersonal effectiveness
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities
- Contribute positively to a healthy, supportive workplace culture
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience in a dedicated Human Resource role. Office management and supervision preferred.
Pay is commensurate with experience.
