Key Responsibilities
- Personally manage recruiting, job postings, applicant communication, interviews, hiring, onboarding, orientation, and employee separations.
- Own and administer the company's H-2B program, including schedules, applications, documentation, compliance requirements, worker communication, and coordination with attorneys, agencies, and other outside partners.
- Maintain complete and accurate employee files, HR systems, required records, and government reporting.
- Administer benefits, PTO, leave, employee assistance, and other HR programs; answer employee questions and resolve routine issues.
- Work directly with managers and employees on performance, attendance, workplace concerns, corrective action, and policy questions.
- Coordinate training, performance reviews, employee development, and company HR initiatives.
- Help strengthen employee engagement and company culture by being present, responsive, fair, and willing to address issues directly.
- Stay current on employment requirements, recommend practical improvements, protect confidentiality, and consistently follow company policies and values.
- 2-3 years of human resources, recruiting, workforce administration, or closely related experience preferred.
- Strong organization, follow-through, communication, judgment, and attention to detail.
- Comfort working directly with field and office employees at all levels of the company.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines, sensitive information, and difficult conversations professionally.
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
- Experience with H-2B, seasonal workforce programs, or employment-related immigration processes is a plus.
