Project Manager – Metal Fabrication
Women Industrial Specialties is seeking an organized, experienced, and motivated Project Manager to manage multiple metal fabrication projects from award through completion.
The Project Manager will coordinate between customers, the fabrication shop, vendors, contractors, and field personnel to keep projects organized, on schedule, and moving forward.
Compensation
$60,000 – $90,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
We are willing to compensate at the higher end of the range for candidates with strong experience in metal fabrication, structural steel, miscellaneous metals, ornamental metals, or commercial construction project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple fabrication projects and schedules
- Communicate with customers regarding project status, changes, and questions
- Coordinate with the shop on drawings, priorities, deadlines, and requirements
- Review drawings, specifications, and project scope
- Coordinate materials, vendors, change orders, and additional work
- Track progress and resolve issues before they affect the schedule
- Maintain accurate project documentation
Qualifications
- Experience in metal fabrication, structural steel, miscellaneous metals, ornamental metals, or commercial construction preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Experience managing multiple projects
- Ability to work effectively with customers and shop personnel
- Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and problem-solving ability
