The Health Coach advises dieters on concerns and practical ways in which they can improve their health by adopting healthier habits. Conducts follow-up sessions with dieters. Assists the service desk with client management. Performs other duties as assigned by department management according to policies and procedures and the mission of Woman's Hospital.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Kinesiology, Counseling or related field.
- Must obtain National Commission for Certifying Agencies accredited Wellness Coaching or similar certification within six months of hire.
- MD Anderson Tobacco Treatment Specialist Certification within six months of hire preferred.
- Advises dieters on concerns and practical ways in which they can improve their health by adopting healthier eating habits. Receives measurable results and feedback from clients in these areas.
- Assists clients with the selection and purchase of products and supplements from multiple product lines.
- Stays abreast of current food, nutrition and health issues and research related to nutrition and weight management. Participates in continuing education.
- Regularly consults with Nutrition Manager related to techniques used, challenges, questions, etc.
- Keeps all client charts up to date. Ensures that all charts are organized and contain required information/forms.
- Collects data on dieter outcomes to monitor program efficacy.
- Accurately measures vitals and body composition.
- Any other duties as assigned by Woman's Hospital.
