What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Tech - Adult Therapy - PRN position at Woman's Hospital?
The Physical Therapy Tech assists in the delivery of therapy services under the supervision of a Manager and licensed staff Physical Therapist. This includes assisting with the cleaning and logging of equipment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Past experience in clinical setting is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assists patients/clients with the prescribed exercise program in an effective manner.
- Demonstrates competency in the application, utilization and monitoring of appropriate modalities under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist or occupational therapist to include, but not limited to electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hot/cold pack application and lymphatic drainage via pump.
- Cleans equipment and maintains logs (cleaning, temperature, and refrigerator).
- Assists with ordering supplies and equipment.
- Any other duties as assigned by Woman’s Hospital.

$17.00 – $24.00; based on work experience
