Lead Carpenter Foreman

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead to oversee remodels, additions, deck builds, and other projects and assist in completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a small tight knit team, ensure project success, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality. Pay based on experience and skill, would be responsible for overseeing small team to complete work with direct owner support.

Duties

• Coordinate construction schedules and supervise on-site activities, including blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction drawings review.
• Oversee subcontractor and crew management, supervising teams to ensure safety protocols are followed in accordance with general OSHA standards
• Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
• Facilitate communication among management teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep projects on track.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years experience carpentry, preferred 1 year in being a team lead.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics and blueprints accurately.
• Strong background in managing teams within a construction management role with supervisory experience on active sites.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards, federal construction safety regulations, and local building codes essential for safe project execution.
• Excellent managerial communication skills necessary for effective crew supervision and stakeholder engagement.
