System Administrator 2 (Healthcare)
Job Summary
The System Administrator will support the Platform Administration team by gathering and analyzing business requirements, developing future-state designs, writing user stories, configuring solutions, and providing ongoing platform administration. This is a hands-on role focused on Salesforce solutions, business process improvement, quality assurance, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and user stories and translate them into platform solutions and configurations.
- Participate in cross-functional sessions to evaluate requirements and recommend platform solutions aligned with performance goals and metrics.
- Define and configure prototype solutions using best practices and low-code platform capabilities.
- Configure and perform quality assurance testing for low- to moderately complex solutions.
- Facilitate troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution within established service levels.
- Serve as a liaison between IT and business teams in support of platform extensions and service updates.
- Provide platform administration, end-user support, access management, system configuration, and performance monitoring.
- Support Internal Audit and Compliance requirements related to supported platforms.
- Evaluate system applications and recommend improvements to optimize platform performance.
- Lead requirements workshops and user story development using agile methodologies.
- Improve business processes rather than relying on simple lift-and-shift approaches.
- Conduct testing to validate Salesforce functionality and performance.
- Research, document, and advise on Salesforce best practices, releases, and new features.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of relevant professional experience.
- Advanced knowledge of the Salesforce platform and at least two years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience.
- Experience with platform administration, solution design, configuration, product management, or technology implementation.
- Experience working with agile software development life cycle practices.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator certification required.
- Experience with source control or DevOps tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Visual Studio, Flosum, or similar platforms.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience with process and flow diagramming, presentations, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.

- Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator II or Platform App Builder certification.
- Experience with agile methodologies, release management, or data analytics.
