About the Role
The Sales & Events Manager is responsible for generating and converting event sales while managing the full lifecycle of private dining and group events. This role blends strategic sales, client relationship management, and detailed event planning, serving as the primary point of contact from initial inquiry through execution.

What You’ll Do
Drive Sales & Revenue Growth
- Generate, qualify, and convert leads for private dining, group events, and full restaurant buyouts
- Achieve and exceed annual revenue targets
- Execute strategic sales plans and proactive outreach initiatives
- Build relationships with corporate clients, concierges, DMCs, wedding planners, and local partners
- Identify upsell opportunities and cultivate repeat business
Lead Event Planning & Client Experience
- Serve as the main point of contact from inquiry through event execution
- Create proposals, contracts, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
- Guide clients through menu selection, logistics, and event design
- Coordinate with culinary, beverage, and operations teams to ensure seamless planning
- Manage all event details including timelines, floorplans, and vendor coordination
Support Event Execution
- Provide onsite support for large-scale events and restaurant buyouts as needed
- Partner with service teams to ensure flawless execution
- Act as a professional, solutions-oriented presence for clients during events
Collaborate Across Teams
- Work closely with culinary and beverage teams on event offerings
- Align with operations on staffing and execution needs
- Participate in BEO and planning meetings to ensure cross-functional readiness
Manage Administrative & Financial Processes
- Maintain accurate records in CRM/event systems
- Coordinate invoicing, deposits, and post-event billing with accounting
- Track event performance and support reporting efforts
Represent the Brand
- Act as a brand ambassador at networking events and industry functions
- Partner with marketing on outreach and promotional initiatives
- Uphold Wolfgang Puck’s standards of excellence in every interaction
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- 3–5 years in event sales, catering sales, or luxury hospitality sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Experience managing full-cycle event planning and client relationships
Skills
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
Work Environment & Schedule
- Primarily onsite, Monday–Friday
- Flexibility required for client meetings, networking events, and occasional evenings/weekends
- Hands-on involvement in event execution as needed
