Training & Learning Administrator onsite in Medina
The Training & Development Administrator plays a strategic role in assessing current training resources, developing targeted content for Sales, Operations, and Corporate teams, and creating onboarding and development paths for all job classifications. This role emphasizes program design and enablement over direct instruction, supporting managers and employees through structured tools and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and inventory current training resources (formal, informal, OTJ, external) to identify gaps and measure effectiveness.
- Develop training content tailored to Sales, Operations, and Corporate teams.
- Create development paths and success profiles for each job classification in partnership with managers.
- Build tools and resources such as checklists, assessments, guidelines, and training plans to support onboarding, promotions, and performance improvement.
- Lead the creation of the "Pathways to Success" training and development program.
- Partner with managers and employees to review and revise job descriptions, performance expectations, and job profiles.
- Communicate and educate employees on available training and development opportunities.
- Recommend training initiatives, policies, and programs based on business needs.
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), including Paycor and Epicor platforms.
- Maintain training records and prepare reports to evaluate progress and support long-term goals.
- Coordinate training delivery through managers, mentors, and external partners.
- Maintain contact with employees in new roles and their mentors to support competency development.
- Travel to branch locations as needed to assess progress and support training initiatives.
- Support HR department tasks and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 7 years of experience in training and development, with a strong focus on content creation.
- Experience in distribution, warehousing, or a related environment.
- Willingness to travel to Wolff Bros. locations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
- Experience working in a family-owned business is a plus.
- Resourceful, responsive, and proactive.
- Business-minded with a desire to understand and support company operations.
- Collaborative team player.
