About The Role
We are seeking a Data Engineer to support and scale our enterprise data platform, with a focus on enabling next-generation AI and analytics capabilities. This role is critical in building and maintaining high-quality, governed data pipelines that serve as the foundation for advanced analytics and emerging Agentic AI use cases. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in AWS-based data architectures, a solid understanding of data governance principles, and a forward-looking mindset toward AI-driven data systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers within a lakehouse architecture
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes using AWS services (Glue, S3, Athena, etc.)
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across all stages of the data lifecycle
- Implement and enforce data governance standards, including cataloging, lineage, and access controls
- Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality data products
- Support and enable AI/ML and Agentic AI workflows by providing clean, well-structured, and accessible datasets
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and failures
- Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement of the data platform
Role

- Successfully onboard and take ownership of key data pipelines within the medallion architecture
- Deliver measurable improvements in pipeline performance, reliability, or cost efficiency
- Implement or enhance at least one data governance capability (e.g., lineage tracking, tagging, or access controls)
- Contribute to enabling at least one AI/analytics use case by delivering clean, production-ready datasets
- 3 years of experience in data engineering or related field
- Hands-on experience with AWS data services (Glue, S3, Athena, IAM, Lake Formation preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation and pipeline development
- Understanding of data governance concepts including cataloging, lineage, and access control
- Familiarity or interest in AI/ML workflows, with exposure to Agentic AI concepts considered a strong plus
