Wolfe, Inc. is looking for a motivated, personable Inside Sales Representative to join our team at our Asheville, North Carolina office.
This is a full-time, in-office position based in Asheville and is not a remote position. We are especially interested in candidates who live in Asheville or the surrounding Western North Carolina area and are looking for an opportunity to build a long-term career with an established company.
For more than 40 years, Wolfe has provided drug testing, background screening, and employment screening services to businesses across the country. We are looking for someone who enjoys talking with people, developing relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and turning prospects into long-term clients.
This is a salary plus commission position that provides the stability of a base salary along with the opportunity to increase your earnings through sales performance.
What You'll Do
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing new business while also helping strengthen relationships with existing Wolfe clients. You will work closely with our sales and support teams from our Asheville office to identify opportunities and provide solutions that meet our clients' needs.
- Prospecting and developing new business through outbound calls, email, follow-up, referrals, and other sales activities.
- Building genuine, long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate Wolfe products and services.
- Scheduling sales meetings and conducting follow-up with prospective clients.
- Preparing sales quotes and responding to customer inquiries.
- Maintaining accurate records of prospects, opportunities, communications, and sales activity in HubSpot CRM.
- Maintaining regular contact with existing clients to identify additional service opportunities.
- Working toward established sales and revenue goals.
- Participating in sales meetings and collaborating with management and other members of the Wolfe team.
- Providing regular updates and reports regarding sales activity, opportunities, and results.
- Occasionally meeting with prospective or existing clients in person when appropriate.
- Completing other sales-related responsibilities as needed.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, dependable, comfortable starting conversations, and persistent enough to follow an opportunity from the first contact through the sale.
- Previous sales, business development, account management, or similar customer-facing experience.
- A demonstrated ability to develop new business and achieve sales goals.
- Confidence making outbound calls and contacting prospective customers.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening and customer service skills.
- The ability to stay organized and consistently follow up with prospective clients.
- Good judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
- A positive, professional approach to working with customers and coworkers.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of an established team.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and other common business applications.
- Experience with HubSpot or another CRM system is helpful but not required.
- The ability to occasionally lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College degree preferred but not required.
- Previous successful sales experience is preferred.
- Relevant experience in business development, customer service, account management, recruiting, healthcare services, background screening, drug testing, or another business-to-business environment may also be considered.

Work Location & Environment
This position works in person at Wolfe, Inc.'s Asheville, North Carolina office. It is not a remote position.
The position is primarily performed in a professional office environment and requires regular use of a computer, telephone, email, CRM software, and standard office equipment. The employee will regularly sit, stand, communicate by telephone and in person, and occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
