What You'll Do
- Prepare, review, and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading (BOLs), invoices, manifests, packing lists, and freight paperwork
- Verify shipment information for accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations
- Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse teams, carriers, and customers to ensure timely shipment processing
- Maintain organized digital and physical shipping records for accurate tracking and auditing
- Monitor shipment progress and quickly resolve documentation discrepancies or delivery issues
- Enter and update shipment data in transportation and inventory management systems
- Assist with customs, export, and compliance documentation when applicable
- Respond to customer and vendor inquiries regarding shipment status and documentation
- Support daily logistics operations and administrative tasks to ensure efficient workflow
- Help improve documentation processes and maintain high standards of accuracy
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree is a plus
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, warehouse administration, or office coordination preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Office Suite
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or ERP software is an advantage
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
